I'm HOME!

Hi Everyone

Ralphie here reporting from my new home on the other side of the mountains! HOWDY! :)

Things here are really great! I have a ma and a pa, a skin sister and brother, and a fur sister! What a big family! I LOVE IT and I LOVE THEM! They love me too! I'll let ma speak a little...here's a note she wrote to Aunt Tina:

"First of all , I just want to say, we LOVE LOVE Ralphie. He has brought so much laughter to our lives, and he makes me smile every day! He is thebiggest Doof....and has got to be the worlds' single most abundant source of slobber that I have come across!!! We just keep a towel next to his bed just for such occasions. HeHe. He is definately a moma's boy and follows me around everywhere I go. He loves to go in the car too! He and Jayne are still establishing a pecking order...so far she is winning...but when she puts him in his place, he just wags his little stub and slobbers all over her face, and says "I'm sorry..." and its all over. It's pretty cute. When no one is looking, they swap beds, and he slobbers on her bed for awhile, then she wants it back ...so yea...she loves him too! Thank you to everyone that took such good care of him in his foster days, and thanks Tina for matching us with Ralphie ! We will enjoy him for the rest of his years!"

So yeah, things are GREAT!!! And yes, thanks Aunt Dawn for taking such great care of me when I was there! Say HI to the other bullies and the kitty too! And a big slobbery kiss for Chloe! :)

Ralph is a fantastic dog! So full of energy!
He has been great with my daughter and wonderful with the other bulldogs in the house.
He is also very proud of himself every time he finds a new toy. He has such a fun loving personality-
Hopefully I'll get some pictures in the next day or so- (as soon as I find my photocard).
Tuesday, Sept 30 he will be going back into the hospital for repeat bloodwork. He has elevated liver enzymes- we're hoping that the elevation was just due to his over heating on Saturday, Sept 13 (which has prompted me to keep a Bulldog Respiratory Arrest Crash Kit on hand, complete with endotracheal tube and inj sedatives)

Welcome Ralphie

Please welcome Ralphie to CBRR!  His family didn't have the time to spend with him after the baby came (spent too much time in this crate in the garage) so we welcomed Ralphie into the CBRR family.  He's about 2 years old and like most pups, needs training and time to be exercised and play. 

 

The good doc found his liver levels elevated so Ralphie has a few more weeks in foster care before going back for another evaluation.  He'll be with us for a bit and will need lots of medication and tests but we're confident he'll be in shape for adoption in a few weeks.  Please help by contributing to Ralphie's care so we can get this young pup on his way to a happy and loving home.  At his foster home he's loving playing with the other fur kids and the 5 year old skin kid.  Ralphie can do well in a home with other "kids" as long as they play nice.
